Role overview Ebury is expanding its Financial Crime Intelligence Product team and seeks a (Senior) Product Manager to lead Name & Payment Screening. This position is part of the Product - FinCrime group and is based in Málaga, following a hybrid schedule (four days onsite, one day remote each week). Screening plays a central role at Ebury, helping to ensure safe and scalable access to global financial services. As Ebury adds new products, verticals, and payment channels, the screening systems must evolve to become more automated, intelligent, and accurate. The (Senior) Product Manager will drive these improvements, focusing on screening for names and payments involving customers, counterparties, and transactions. This role reports to the Head of Financial Crime Intelligence Product and works in close partnership with teams across First Line, Compliance, Engineering, and Data. What you will do Lead the Name Screening & Payment Screening product area, covering customer onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and transaction management for clients and counterparties. Define and deliver the product strategy for this domain, ensuring alignment with the broader Financial Crime Intelligence Product group and Ebury’s vision. Develop and maintain an actionable roadmap for: Fiat to fiat transactions Fiat to crypto transactions (mainly stablecoins) Crypto to crypto transactions Card expenditures Optimize data sources for sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEP), and adverse media, consistent with Ebury’s compliance frameworks and risk tolerance. Use data and research to identify pain points and improve fuzziness scores in matching logic. Apply AI to enhance screening accuracy, including risk-based matching, prioritization, and alerting. Collaboration Partner with First Line, Compliance, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver product improvements. Key areas include vendor integrations, refining list and matching logic, and optimizing compliance across different products and business lines. Location and schedule This position is based in Ebury’s Málaga office. The hybrid work model includes four days onsite and one day working from home each week.
