Education / Experience: Minimum of six months of experience in Product Design, Manufacturing, or a Makers environment. Specific Skills / Abilities: Hands-on experience in a machine shop. Familiarity with Design of Experiments, Statics, and Material Science (preferred). Experience working in Renewable Battery or High Voltage environments (preferred). Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software (preferred).

As a key member of the GridBlock design team, you will collaborate closely with Senior Engineers on groundbreaking product design initiatives for our Energy Router.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize and implement solutions for enhancing mechanical design.
  • Read and modify CAD drawings effectively.
  • Engage with machine tools to develop jigs, refine designs, and maintain prototypes.
  • Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze test results to optimize mechanical performance and design.
