Key ResponsibilitiesEngage in electrical design and testing tasks for PCBAs, sub-assemblies, and modules across various subsystems (battery, master controller, communications, power electronics). Collaborate with cross-functional teams of hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical engineers throughout engineering and system integration projects. Design, modify, and document schematics, PCB layouts, and assembly instructions. Assist in validating firmware and embedded software for our inverter subsystem. Education and ExperiencePreferred enrollment in a Master's Program in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or a related field). Undergraduate students in a 4-year program graduating between 2026 and 2028 pursuing a BS in these disciplines may also be considered if they exhibit a strong technical foundation. Proficiency with Altium or similar eCAD software. Specific Skills/AbilitiesExperience with diverse topologies used for isolated and non-isolated power converters, inverters, DC/DC converters, etc. Familiarity with power converter simulation in MATLAB, Plecs, or equivalent software environments. Circuit design skills, including schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout design. Knowledge of PCB technologies, such as rigid, hybrid, HDI, etc.
