Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) has provided education and training for future aircraft technicians since 1969. With 15 campuses across the United States, AIM educates about 20% of all students enrolled in FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) schools nationwide. Nearly one in four certified aircraft technicians in the country graduate from AIM each year.

The Hasbrouck Heights, NJ campus is seeking an A&P Mechanic Instructor to help prepare the next generation of aviation professionals. Instructors at AIM join a team focused on delivering practical, high-quality training and supporting student success in the aviation maintenance field.

Compensation and Incentives

  • Hourly rate: $40/hour
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires until July 1st
  • $2,500 relocation assistance for candidates moving from outside the area

Schedule Options

  • Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm EST
  • Evening shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm EST; Friday, approximately 8:00 am – 4:00 pm EST
  • Weekend shift: Thursday to Sunday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm EST
