About Aviation Institute of Maintenance
Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) has provided education and training for future aircraft technicians since 1969. With 15 campuses across the United States, AIM educates about 20% of all students enrolled in FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) schools nationwide. Nearly one in four certified aircraft technicians in the country graduate from AIM each year.
The Hasbrouck Heights, NJ campus is seeking an A&P Mechanic Instructor to help prepare the next generation of aviation professionals. Instructors at AIM join a team focused on delivering practical, high-quality training and supporting student success in the aviation maintenance field.
Compensation and Incentives
- Hourly rate: $40/hour
- $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires until July 1st
- $2,500 relocation assistance for candidates moving from outside the area
Schedule Options
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm EST
- Evening shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm EST; Friday, approximately 8:00 am – 4:00 pm EST
- Weekend shift: Thursday to Sunday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm EST
