The Role
The Account Executive II is entrusted with managing a designated sales territory and achieving quota objectives. You will play a pivotal role in identifying, generating, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities for both existing and potential clients within your territory. This position involves overseeing the entire sales lifecycle and developing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Drive growth in new and existing accounts within your assigned territory.
- Develop and uphold a strategic territory sales plan that outlines your path to success.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive prospecting across all product lines.
- Manage sales forecasting, lead generation, prospecting, and account management throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate whitespace data for customers and focus accounts.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers, Partner Account Managers, and the broader team to achieve territory objectives.
- Work with the Channel team and partners to deliver exceptional value to our clients and BeyondTrust.
- Coordinate with the xDR team to strategically cover your total addressable market.
- Participate in corporate trade shows and events.
- Track and update sales pipeline activity in Salesforce.
- Conduct product demonstrations and detailed presentations for prospects, clients, and partners.
- Lead responses to RFPs for your assigned accounts.
- Oversee the complete end-to-end sales process, including organizing sales meetings (both in-person and virtual) and collaborating with your Sales Engineer and partner network to successfully close deals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, ensuring their needs align with our BeyondTrust solutions.
- Document customer business and IT strategies, priorities, and goals accurately in the CRM system.
