Role Overview
Toast, Inc. supports restaurants and local businesses as they grow in a digital world. Our technology helps owners streamline operations, increase sales, connect with customers, and keep teams engaged. As an Account Executive focused on small to medium businesses in the Mountain West, you will work directly with restaurants in your area. This field-based position combines remote work with about 25% travel.
What You Will Do
- Identify and build a pipeline of restaurant prospects, managing the sales process from first contact through closing.
- Deliver product demonstrations and create solutions tailored to each prospect’s needs.
- Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery.
- Track sales activities and progress in Salesforce CRM.
- Study competitors to position Toast effectively in the market.
What We Look For
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, restaurant operations, or a related field.
- Reliable transportation for field visits (mileage reimbursed).
- Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Able to sell and negotiate with decision-makers at all levels.
- History of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Comfort working in a team that values initiative and adaptability.
- Self-motivated, creative, and flexible in approach.
- Basic proficiency with common software tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce CRM.
- Completion of Sandler Sales Training.
