Join Myriad Women's Health as an Account Executive and make a significant impact on patient care through precision medicine.
As an Account Executive (AE), you will promote the Myriad Women's Health portfolio of molecular genetic tests to obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare providers in your designated territory. Your role will involve educating healthcare professionals on Myriad's innovative science, research, and precision medicine approaches. These tests play a vital role in guiding personalized medical management decisions and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate the value of various molecular diagnostic tests to physicians.
- Provide in-service training to office staff to enhance their understanding of our products.
- Collaborate with local phlebotomy providers to facilitate efficient specimen acquisition.
- Conduct local presentations and coordinate peer-to-peer programs for interested groups.
- Engage with local health plans relevant to these medical practices.
- Adhere to budgetary constraints and administrative requirements.
- Utilize Territory Planning Tools for strategic account management and call frequency.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce (CRM) to track targeting, call frequency, messaging, and strategic initiatives.
- Participate in regional meetings and attend Women's Health conferences as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare sales, particularly in women's health, bio-pharma, molecular diagnostics, or medical equipment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of success in sales, recognized as a top performer in past roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage increasing responsibilities and achieve sustained growth.
- Comprehensive product knowledge and understanding of relevant disease states.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as necessary.
- Exhibit a consultative sales approach, known for excellent selling and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges effectively.
- In-depth understanding of coverage and reimbursement issues.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ethical considerations regarding patient privacy.
- Demonstrate values and ethics aligned with Myriad's mission and professional standards.
- Ability to maintain corporate integrity under sales pressure.
