The Role
We are in search of an Account Lead who will be responsible for managing the complete relationship and commercial success of one to two of Synquery's key client accounts. This player-coach position involves setting the strategic vision for your accounts, driving revenue growth through expansion and upselling, and overseeing a small team of Strategic Project Leads (SPLs) who execute daily project tasks.
This role is ideal for individuals who excel at the crossroads of commercial strategy, client advisory, and team leadership. You will be the trusted advisor your clients turn to during critical moments and the pivotal figure your SPLs rely on for guidance, prioritization, and professional development.
Responsibilities
Account Growth & Commercial Operations
• Develop and implement the commercial strategy for your accounts, identify opportunities for expansion, structure pricing and proposals, and drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s business, objectives, and decision-making framework to establish Synquery as a trusted long-term strategic partner.
• Anticipate account health and revenue trends; proactively communicate risks and opportunities to leadership.
Client Relationship & Strategic Advisory
• Act as the senior point of contact for your accounts, nurturing executive-level relationships and ensuring client satisfaction across all active projects.
• Facilitate strategic discussions with clients, including quarterly business reviews, roadmap planning, and issue resolution.
• Translate client feedback and unmet needs into actionable insights for product and service enhancements for internal teams.
