Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Account Manager / Business Development Manager with substantial expertise in Software & IT sales. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of intricate B2B sales cycles and will be comfortable engaging with IT Managers, Heads of Technology, and technical buying committees.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing existing accounts, nurturing relationships, uncovering upsell opportunities, and spearheading new business growth through consultative outreach.
This position is perfect for individuals with experience in B2B technology sales, SaaS account management, IT solution selling, and enterprise client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of existing Software & IT client accounts.
- Establish strong relationships with IT Managers and technical stakeholders.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Drive new business through outbound prospecting and warm leads.
- Conduct discovery calls to assess technical infrastructure and client needs.
- Present customized IT and software solutions in a consultative manner.
- Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking in CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Software, SaaS, or IT services sales.
- Demonstrated success in complex B2B or enterprise sales.
- Comfortable handling high call volumes and outbound prospecting.
- Skilled in communicating technical concepts to IT Managers.
- Experience in managing lengthy sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals.
- Background in account management and new business development.
- Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms).
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated and adept at working in a remote sales environment.
