Professional Experience:• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or a similar role. Skills and Key Behaviours:The successful candidate will demonstrate:Proficiency in preparing complex financial statements. Ability to apply accounting standards and policies with minimal supervision. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in deliverables. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage tasks of varying complexity. Effective communication and documentation skills for articulating processes and operational risks. A proactive and results-driven mindset.

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant 3 specializing in Fund Accounting to join our dynamic team. In this senior preparer role, you will deliver comprehensive fund accounting services for a variety of complex portfolios with minimal supervision. Your expertise will be pivotal in executing sophisticated accounting processes and ensuring accurate client deliverables. You will lead the preparation of intricate financial reports while consistently adhering to high-quality standards.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of intricate financial statements, NAV calculations, and other essential reports
  • Guarantee accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables
  • Implement accounting standards and policies with minimal oversight
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at process improvement
  • Gain a deep understanding of client-specific requirements and industry practices

Key Tasks:

  • Exhibit expertise in applying diverse accounting principles and navigating complex fund structures, including the preparation of detailed and accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Process capital calls, distributions, and investor communications.
  • Manage bookkeeping for complex transactions and prepare periodic financial reports for sophisticated clients.
  • Document procedures for intricate accounting processes comprehensively.
  • Identify and report potential operational risks to management.
  • Conduct self-reviews to uphold quality standards.
