ABOUT THE POSITION:
As an Accountant at BURGA, your role transcends basic number-crunching; you'll ensure the financial operations of one of the fastest-growing lifestyle brands run smoothly. You'll be integral to our finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency as we scale.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in daily accounting functions, maintain precise financial records, and monitor transactions to ensure overall accuracy. Collaborate with the finance team on payment processing, credit notes, reconciliations, and report generation, contributing to a well-organized financial structure.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Execute daily accounting tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
- Process bank transactions punctually and conduct thorough bank reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing tax returns across various jurisdictions.
- Support the timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial reports.
- Engage in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to resolve inquiries.
- Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in implementing innovative financial systems to automate routine tasks.
