We are excited to announce a new opportunity within the Wealth, Brokerage, and Retirement (WBR) Financial Controls Team. This pivotal role will enhance the infrastructure for ensuring data integrity concerning information and processes affecting SEC and regulatory reporting across WBR. The successful candidate will engage in activities to uphold internal controls over the financial reporting environment, adhering closely to corporate policy requirements. This position necessitates a profound understanding of internal control documentation and evaluation techniques to support the completion of control monitoring and reporting processes.
Key responsibilities include assessing, recommending, and communicating practices and procedures related to financial controls aimed at ensuring accurate general ledger activity. You will actively collaborate with the WBR Financial Controls Group to support compliance initiatives associated with the Sarbanes-Oxley program, which includes evaluating and updating documentation, overseeing and assessing testing efforts and remediation plans, and ensuring that deadlines are met. This role will also entail acting as a financial consultant to support business line objectives. You will work closely with members of the WBR line of business Group Controller teams and various finance teams to identify and implement best practices regarding financial control activities.
