We are currently on the lookout for a seasoned Accounting Manager with a focus on supporting founder-led consumer product brands across the e-commerce, retail, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors. This position is perfect for professionals who excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments and possess a passion for client relationship management.
In this role, you will take ownership of the complete accounting cycle for multiple clients, acting as the primary point of contact and managing a small team of 1-2 bookkeepers. A strong foundation in technical accounting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently with precision are essential for success in this position.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing the month-end close process and financial reporting
- Overseeing inventory accounting, including reconciling subledgers to the general ledger, managing write-offs, and performing accuracy checks
- Handling accounts payable and receivable processes, bill payments, and payroll entries
- Preparing and reviewing comprehensive financial packages (Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, trend analyses)
- Providing insightful financial advice and recommendations to clients
- Serving as the main point of contact for clients through calls, presentations, and ongoing communication
- Managing and mentoring a small team of bookkeepers
- Overseeing a portfolio of 5-6 clients per team
