About The Role
We are in search of a skilled Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations, initially focusing on fixed assets, leases, and payroll. As our team expands, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, fostering personal and professional growth alongside the company.
What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of essential accounting functions such as fixed assets, lease accounting, and payroll, while adapting to evolving team needs.
- Manage the complete fixed asset accounting process, including policy adherence, reconciliations, and reporting, utilizing NetSuite and the Netgain Fixed Asset Module (FAM).
- Lead lease accounting efforts ensuring compliance with ASC 842 standards.
- Oversee payroll accounting, collaborating with the People team on reconciliations and reporting via Rippling.
- Direct the month-end and year-end close processes, including thorough reviews of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations across your areas of responsibility; design, document, and monitor internal controls.
- Assist with external audit requests and liaise with auditors as necessary.
- Champion continuous process improvement and system optimization initiatives.
The Right Fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required or strongly preferred.
- 6–9 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Proficient in accounting software, particularly NetSuite, and familiar with payroll systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to drive process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
