Aledade is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing payments for our partner practices. In this position, you will be tasked with calculating and preparing all distributions to our partner practices while ensuring compliance with participation agreements. This role also involves collaborating across various departments to meet contractual obligations regarding provider payments and Participation Agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. GAAP, exceptional critical thinking abilities, and a proven track record in maintaining and generating accurate systems of record.We value flexibility and welcome candidates who are comfortable working remotely from anywhere within the U.S. Alternatively, you may choose to work from our Bethesda, MD office.

Role Overview The Senior Accountant - Corporate at lpc will focus on strengthening accounting operations and financial reporting for specific markets and corporate cost centers. Accuracy, compliance, and meeting deadlines are central to this position. Key areas include payroll, commissions, billings, cash operations, and the month-end close. The role starts with six months fully in-office in Arlington, VA, then shifts to a hybrid schedule. Main Responsibilities Direct daily accounting tasks for multiple markets and corporate departments, covering billing, cash management, payroll, allocations, and month-end close. Review, update, and maintain allocations, including posting entries and calculating retroactive adjustments as needed. Coordinate and post cost center and headquarters allocations among corporate teams. Manage and document earnest money deposit entries for business pursuits, where relevant. Prepare and complete balance sheet reconciliations for accruals, prepaid expenses, and other assigned accounts. Perform bank reconciliations for applicable accounts. Evaluate expenditures to ensure correct classification of fixed assets and prepare depreciation and amortization entries for intangible assets. Review and post intercompany adjustments to ensure accurate reporting between market and headquarters accounts. Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies promptly. Review and post trial balance uploads for entities not included in the core ERP system. Handle consolidation tasks and ensure proper elimination of intercompany balances. Assist with monthly financial statement reviews and analyze significant variances month-over-month, year-over-year, and versus budget. Take on additional duties as assigned. Collaboration and Business Partnership Work with Administrative Finance and FP&A teams to improve variance analysis and financial reporting. Respond to requests for financial and operational data from Finance and FP&A departments.
