Qualifications to Join Our Team:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA designation is an asset). Over 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or team management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP standards, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks. Proven experience in managing closing cycles and producing monthly reports. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders. High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and financial integrity.

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting activities, and team performance. This vital role ensures the accuracy of financial information, strengthens internal controls, and provides reliable financial insights to management. The Accounting Supervisor will lead a team of accounting professionals and closely collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance financial processes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Verify ledger entries, accounting records, account reconciliations, and the integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, management dashboards, and key performance indicators.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring processes.
  • Provide financial analyses and variance explanations to management and operational teams.
  • Supervise, train, and develop the accounting team, ensuring performance standards are met and tasks are prioritized effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Coordinate audit activities and serve as the primary financial contact for external auditors. Identify and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
