Key Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of the Active Directory infrastructure, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and controls related to Active Directory and Windows operating systems.
- Conduct regular internal assessments to verify compliance with established controls.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for supported operations.
- Monitor and optimize performance for Active Directory and Windows operating systems, covering aspects such as connectivity, synchronization, replication, netlogon, time services, FSMO roles, schema, NTDS database partitions, DNS settings, SRV records, certificate authorities, and trust relationships.
- Provide operational guidance and act as the central escalation point for all Microsoft server-related technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, AD Trusts, AD Sites and Services, Microsoft Identity Manager, PowerShell DSC, Puppet for Windows, Time Synchronization, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and standard operating procedures.
- Offer after-hours support as necessary.
