The Elmhurst Learning and Success Academy (ELSA) is a four-year certificate program dedicated to empowering students with disabilities. We are currently seeking a dynamic Adjunct Instructor to deliver engaging courses in Math Concepts and Financial Literacy during the fall 2026 and spring 2027 semesters.
- ELS 052-86 Math Concepts; Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00-9:40 AM (First 8 weeks of fall semester, start date = September 1, 2026). This course focuses on practical mathematical skills essential for daily life, including money management, measurement, time, estimation, and basic operations. Students will develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills to enhance their decision-making abilities.
- ELS 082-86 Financial Smarts I; Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00-9:40 AM (Second 8 weeks of fall semester, start date = October 27, 2026). This course introduces students to key financial concepts necessary for effective budgeting, expense tracking, check writing, and consumer skills, emphasizing informed decision-making.
- ELS 083-85 Financial Smarts II; Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00-9:40 AM (Start date = February 2, 2027). This course serves as a continuation of Financial Smarts I, further enhancing students' financial knowledge and skills.
