This vision extends beyond creating advanced technology; it involves the responsible application of AI in real-world contexts. Our dedicated OpenAI for Government team collaborates with U. S. and allied government entities to facilitate the ethical integration of AI across defense, intelligence, and civilian sectors. We operate at the intersection of technology, policy, and operations, ensuring that our innovations are implemented effectively, align with democratic values, and consider real-world impacts.

In this pivotal role, you will support leaders within two key teams that are central to OpenAI's global engagements: OpenAI for Government and Global Affairs.

As a member of the OpenAI for Government team, you will engage with federal, state, and local government agencies, accelerating AI adoption through tailored support, customized training, and insightful guidance, enabling civil servants to focus on impactful tasks rather than bureaucratic hurdles. In collaboration with the Global Affairs National Security team, you will influence OpenAI’s interactions with senior national security leaders and policymakers globally, navigating one of the most dynamic and significant policy environments of our era. You will work at the confluence of frontier AI, geopolitics, and defense, helping to forge trusted relationships, guide strategic decisions, and establish OpenAI as a credible partner on critical global security issues. If you thrive on high-impact work, tackling complex challenges, and shaping the use of transformative technology in support of democratic principles, we would love to connect with you.

Our Administrative Business Partners act as trusted advisors and collaborators to OpenAI's executives and leaders, emphasizing effective communication and operational excellence across teams. With a commitment to excellence and a proactive mindset, we empower our executives and contribute to the overall advancement and success of the company.
