- Provide personalized support to complex patients by identifying their needs through assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
- Offer guidance, instruction, and training to patients and their families.
- Professionally mentor and train nursing staff on clinical topics through BedSide Teaching.
- Participate in the education and training of nursing professionals.
- Plan and conduct case discussions with evaluations of care for complex patients.
- Systematically assess existing care structures to derive development options and create new concepts, implementing evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Contribute to quality assurance of nursing-sensitive quality indicators, including conducting audits and determining necessary measures.
- Manage interfaces within the interdisciplinary team.
- Assume a clinical leadership role within nursing.
- Support and advance nursing science.
- Lead work and project groups on nursing topics within quality development, addressing nursing-related questions with scientific rigor.
- Mentor and support nursing students and academically qualified nursing professionals.
- Engage in shaping the nursing expert APN role.
- Contribute to the establishment and collaboration within APN core teams.
- Foster a collegial and cooperative environment within the interdisciplinary treatment team, working closely with other professional groups.
