Position Overview:
We are actively seeking an experienced Advisory Manager to lead a team of financial planning associates, ensuring they provide exceptional support to our advisors. The role involves a blend of direct client engagement and team management, with responsibilities including performance monitoring and adherence to our firm's compliance and planning standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the workflow of Planning Associates to ensure timely and accurate financial planning deliverables for advisors.
- Maintain quality control over planning outputs; implement best practices and review protocols as established by the Planning Associate Team Lead.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to Planning Associates, fostering their professional development.
- Address daily personnel matters such as scheduling, workload distribution, and performance issues in collaboration with the Planning Associate Team Leader.
- Effectively communicate departmental goals and guide teams in achieving them.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to support their growth and ensure alignment with team objectives.
- Track progress toward team and individual SMART goals, providing guidance and adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and participate in ongoing evaluations of team member development.
- Collaborate with HR and the Planning Associate Team Leader to facilitate career advancement opportunities.
