Essential Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of Programme Management experience with a focus on software delivery within an Agile environment. Deep understanding of project and programme management methodologies. Proficient in performance evaluation and change management principles. Familiarity with project management software such as Jira and MS Project is highly advantageous. Exceptional leadership and organizational skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities. Agile certification is required. Willingness to travel frequently across the UK and work from London as needed.

We are seeking a seasoned Agile Programme Manager to lead a transformative greenfield software development initiative. With a competitive rate of £750 per day, this role offers the potential for permanent placement after a contract period of 12 months. This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility while coordinating with teams across the UK.

Your primary responsibilities will include strategic oversight, organization, and coordination of the programme's workstreams. You will be instrumental in managing interdependencies, assessing risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and monitor programme activities while providing weekly progress reports and resolving issues proactively.
  • Facilitate meetings and maintain communication with clients, stakeholders, and technology partners.
  • Collaborate with senior management and teams to eliminate blockers and manage dependencies effectively.
  • Oversee the contractual deliverables, ensuring compliance and quality assurance throughout the programme.
  • Define governance structures, decision stages, and clarify responsibilities (RACI).
  • Administer daily activities with the support of a Project Administrator.
  • Identify and allocate resources and tasks among project managers, commercial teams, and support functions.
  • Ensure project delivery meets quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Initiate management interventions to address any identified gaps or issues within the programme.
