Qualifications:Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within Agile environments. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly Scrum. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Agile project management tools and software. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate challenges. Relevant certifications, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent, are preferred.

Fulfillment IQ seeks an Agile Scrum Master to guide Agile teams in delivering software solutions for logistics. This full-time, permanent position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and reports to the Director of Product Strategy. The salary range is $90,000 to $115,000 CAD per year.

Role overview

The Scrum Master plays a central role in helping teams adopt and follow Scrum practices. Success in this position means building self-organizing teams, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with sprint goals. Collaboration with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders is a core part of the job. The role also involves coordinating with other teams to keep projects on track and aligned with company objectives.

What you will do

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Ensure teams consistently apply the Scrum framework and Agile principles.
  • Help teams meet sprint goals, delivery timelines, and maintain quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve obstacles or risks that could impact progress, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Encourage self-organization, accountability, and ongoing improvement within teams.
  • Monitor and communicate Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, capacity, and sprint progress to improve transparency and team performance.
  • Work closely with Product Owners on backlog refinement, sprint preparation, and prioritization.

Reporting and collaboration

This role reports directly to the Director of Product Strategy. Daily work involves close collaboration with Product Owners, Development Teams, and other stakeholders to support project delivery and foster a collaborative team culture.
