About the job

As the AI Deployment Manager (ADM) - Pilots, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating enterprise AI pilots that are structured and time-sensitive. This customer-facing position is dedicated to guiding our clients through the evaluation of OpenAI’s innovative products in real-world settings. Your mission is to identify impactful use cases that yield actionable insights directly linked to business value.

In this role, you will spearhead pilot engagements aimed at enhancing activation, encouraging sustained usage, and measuring the overall impact across platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex. You will collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to establish success metrics, mentor users from initial testing to full implementation, and convert pilot results into strategic recommendations for potential expansion or purchase.

Success in this role requires sound judgment, the capability to navigate ambiguity, and a steadfast focus on aligning technical functionalities with business objectives. You will engage regularly with both executive stakeholders and operational teams, customizing your strategies to meet customers' unique needs and drive progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the conceptualization and implementation of enterprise AI pilots, encompassing scoping, cohort identification, and success metrics that inform commercial decisions.

  • Identify and focus on a targeted selection of high-impact use cases that can provide significant insights within a 30–45 day pilot timeframe.

  • Enhance activation and ongoing engagement among pilot cohorts through tailored support, Q&A sessions, and hands-on coaching.

  • Continuously assess pilot performance and make real-time adjustments to address engagement challenges, use case effectiveness, or stakeholder alignment.

  • Convert pilot findings into clear, executive-level recommendations regarding the potential for customer expansion.

  • Navigate through customer limitations, including security protocols and data accessibility, while maintaining pilot progress.

  • Work closely with Account Directors, Solutions Engineers, and customer stakeholders to align on project scope, risks, and future actions.

  • Document insights from pilots and create repeatable playbooks that enhance qualification, execution, and successful outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possess 8+ years of experience in enterprise consulting, customer success, program management, solutions engineering, or a related customer-focused role, interfacing with executive and senior-level clients.
