Role Overview
We are seeking a Developer Experience Engineer to transform the development landscape at Clara by creating a self-service platform that automates and streamlines infrastructure, deployments, and operations. Your mission will be to remove obstacles in the development lifecycle, empowering engineering teams to concentrate on delivering real business value.
Key Responsibilities
Developer Experience & Self-Service Platform
- Design and maintain a developer portal (e.g., Backstage.io) as the central resource management hub.
- Develop abstractions and APIs to allow developers to provision resources autonomously.
- Create self-service workflows for establishing environments, configurations, and permissions.
- Generate reusable templates and blueprints for services, repositories, and pipelines.
CI/CD & Automation
- Design, implement, and optimize highly automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhance build and deployment speeds through intelligent caching, parallelization, and optimizations.
- Implement GitOps and continuous deployment strategies with automated rollback capabilities.
- Automate testing processes (unit, integration, e2e) within pipelines.
