Qualifications

Degree in AI, Data Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Proven experience in applying AI/ML and digitalization solutions to real-world business scenarios, preferably within operational, automotive, or mobility sectors. Deep understanding of business processes in the automotive and mobility industry, with the capability to translate customer and OEM requirements into technical solutions. Experience in directly engaging with customers and business stakeholders, adept at capturing requirements and conveying complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities. Demonstrated success in delivering projects and converting technical insights into business value. Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team. Familiarity with Python and AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is advantageous.

About the job

Main Objective

Lead the charge in identifying and implementing AI and digitalization initiatives across Vehicle Solutions (VS) projects, ensuring effective deployment from tool selection through testing, implementation, and scaling. You will report directly to the VP of VS and work collaboratively with Global Solution and Lean Leaders/Experts.

This position is open from any MSX office in Europe or North America, in accordance with local work orders.

  • Serve as the AI adoption and digitalization authority for VS, aiding in the strategic planning and execution of AI and digitalization projects.
  • Leverage your knowledge of the automotive and mobility sectors alongside technological advancements to discover, assess, and implement AI and digitalization tools (including Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Robotic Process Automation, and Generative AI) that tackle business challenges and create value across both existing and new projects, in close coordination with the AI & Data Center of Excellence Lead.
  • Engage with customers to gain a deep understanding of their business needs, processes, and challenges within the automotive and mobility sectors, and translate these insights into impactful AI and digitalization solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept projects, transforming AI and digitalization ideas into actionable business cases.
  • Oversee the rollout of projects focused on automation and AI-enhanced solutions within operational workflows, collaborating with VS Delivery, IT, and business units.
  • Ensure the development of AI and digitalization solutions is robust, scalable, interpretable, and responsible, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Track adoption metrics, suggest improvements, and identify new use cases for ongoing enhancement.
  • Support Global Lean Leaders, VS Lean Experts, and Central Lean Team Experts during Kaizen events by pinpointing opportunities for efficiency gains through AI and digitalization.
