We are seeking an AI Solutions Architect who will spearhead and articulate the technical strategy for our AI-enabled offerings. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the principal technical expert responsible for crafting scalable, secure, and production-ready AI architectures. You will play a vital role in bridging the divide between business objectives and technical execution, translating intricate requirements into solid architectural plans that utilize contemporary cloud platforms, large language models, and agentic AI frameworks.
Your extensive software engineering experience, combined with hands-on AI knowledge, will be crucial. You will lead engineering teams, assess and choose technologies, establish architectural standards, and ensure our AI solutions are built on a strong foundation. Joining our Digital Engineering leadership team, you will collaborate across various workstreams to shape the future of AI-driven initiatives at Datacom.

Key Responsibilities
You will take ownership of the complete technical architecture for AI-powered solutions across diverse client engagements. This involves evaluating, selecting, and standardizing AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms for the organization.
You will develop reference architectures, design patterns, and best practices for AI solution delivery; lead architectural assessments and provide technical governance across delivery teams; and work alongside product owners, data scientists, and engineering leaders to translate business needs into scalable technical designs.
Moreover, you will design data architectures that accommodate AI workloads, covering ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval, while establishing engineering standards for AI quality, testing, security, and observability. You will also guide decisions on whether to build or buy solutions and manage vendor and partner technology relationships.
As a mentor, you will elevate engineering teams in AI architecture and best practices, maintain awareness of the rapidly changing AI landscape to provide actionable insights, and present architectural visions and technical strategies to senior stakeholders and clients.
