About Aviation Institute of Maintenance
Since 1969, the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) has trained future aircraft technicians at campuses across the country. AIM represents 20% of all students in FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) schools nationwide and graduates nearly one in four certified aircraft technicians in the United States each year. With 15 locations, AIM focuses on developing skilled, employable professionals for the aviation industry.
Role Overview: Aircraft Maintenance and Powerplant Mechanic Instructor
Location: 2329 E Little Creek Rd, Norfolk, VA 23518
Join a team of educators dedicated to delivering hands-on training and supporting student success. This role involves teaching, mentoring, and preparing the next generation of aviation maintenance technicians. AIM values instructors who bring real-world experience and a commitment to shaping the future of aviation maintenance.
Compensation and Schedule
- Pay: Up to $36 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Sign-on Bonus: $2,500
- Schedule Options:
- Days: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Nights: Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm and Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm
