About Aviation Institute of Maintenance
Since 1969, the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) has focused on high-quality education and training for aviation maintenance. With 15 campuses nationwide, AIM educates 20% of all students enrolled in FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) programs in the United States. Nearly one in four certified aircraft technicians in the country graduate from AIM each year.
At AIM, instructors and staff share a mission: to prepare the next generation of aircraft technicians with the technical skills and knowledge needed for the aviation field. The Norfolk, VA campus is seeking new team members dedicated to student success and hands-on learning.
Role Overview: Aircraft Maintenance Instructor
This position is ideal for experienced A&P mechanics interested in moving from the hangar to the classroom. Instructors guide students through practical and theoretical aspects of aviation maintenance, helping them build the foundation for a career in the industry.
