ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Analogue Camera Product Developer & Project Manager, you will be instrumental in the conception and creation of cutting-edge analogue photography products, including cameras, lenses, and accessories. You will collaborate closely with our design and product development team to bring innovative ideas to life, from initial ideation through to research, design, and manufacturing. By working alongside cross-functional teams comprising engineers, marketers, and project managers, you will ensure that our products meet both technical specifications and market demands while embodying our passion for analogue photography.
This role is ideal for a passionate individual with extensive knowledge and experience in analogue photography, seeking to channel that passion into the development of products that resonate with the global analogue photography community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the progress of new photographic product development from conception to production.
- Coordinate daily activities of the product team, manage timelines, and ensure seamless workflow across both local and international offices.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, logistics, and management to deliver projects on schedule and to the highest standards.
- Act as the primary liaison with suppliers and in-house production, fostering strong relationships and negotiating costs, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement processes to enhance productivity while maintaining strict quality and time controls.
- Facilitate clear communication internally and externally, providing regular updates and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the product development cycle.
- Conduct post-launch evaluations to drive continuous product enhancements based on consumer feedback and internal assessments.
