Join our dynamic team at Contentful as an Analytics Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our analytics infrastructure. You will be instrumental in developing Insight 360, our advanced Snowflake-based data platform.
In this position, your primary responsibilities will include designing and maintaining robust, scalable data models that enhance accessibility and usability of our business data across all departments. Collaborating closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality, reliable datasets that empower data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Your contributions will be central to Contentful’s data evolution, steering us towards a modern, governed, and insight-led architecture.
What to Expect?
Data Modeling & Transformation
- Design, build, and sustain efficient, scalable analytics models using dbt and Snowflake.
- Transform raw data from various domains (product, finance, sales, marketing, operations) into analytics-ready structures.
- Implement best practices in modular design, documentation, and testing to ensure long-term reliability.
Pipeline Ownership
- Take full ownership of analytics engineering projects from defining requirements to implementation and monitoring.
- Create reusable and maintainable data transformations that support self-service analytics in Tableau and other BI tools.
Enablement & Collaboration
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to define and deliver trustworthy data assets.
- Work alongside data platform engineers to enhance performance, governance, and cost efficiency in Snowflake.
- Contribute to the shared data catalog and promote the adoption of best practices across analytics and engineering teams.
