Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and lifecycle management of curated datasets, dbt models, and analytics data marts aligned to business domains and metrics. Develop and refine standards and best practices for dbt modeling, testing, documentation, and code organization to support long-term scalability. Guarantee analytical datasets are precise, reliable, and trusted, acting as a single source of truth for business, product, and stakeholders. Integrate data quality checks, documentation, and governance directly into analytics pipelines. Collaborate closely with Product, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to convert business requirements into well-structured, efficient data products. Mentor and guide Analytics Engineers through technical advice, design reviews, and knowledge sharing. Continuously enhance and modernize analytics workflows by introducing automation, tool improvements, and AI-assisted development where relevant. Exercise technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities for the team, including other Analytics Engineers.

The Analytics Engineering Technical Lead will be responsible for shaping and overseeing the modeling architecture, standards, and technical strategy within RSI's cloud-native Data Platform. This key role ensures that our analytics-ready data is dependable, scalable, and aligned with long-term business objectives across growth, operations, and risk management.

In this pivotal position, you will spearhead the design and governance of core data models using Snowflake and dbt, fostering best practices that enable high-quality, self-service analytics without compromising trust or performance. As a proactive technical leader, you will establish benchmarks for modeling, testing, documentation, and deployment, while mentoring fellow Analytics Engineers and enhancing the overall technical capabilities of the team.

This role demands close collaboration with Data Engineering, Analytics, and business stakeholders to translate dynamic requirements into robust data products. You will also balance the need for speed and governance, prioritize platform enhancements, and ensure our data infrastructure evolves alongside the business.

Our modern data stack comprises Snowflake, AWS, Python, Airflow, and dbt.
