Join our dynamic Research Operations team as a detail-oriented and technology-savvy Analytics Support Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will manage and transform raw survey and behavioral data into structured formats that are primed for analysis. Your responsibilities will include quality assurance, coding, weighting, merging datasets, and ensuring the accurate delivery of final data files to our research teams and clients. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our research outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Cleaning & Quality Control: Clean and prepare raw datasets from survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Alchemer) for analysis using tools such as Excel, SPSS, or R. This involves identifying and correcting data errors, removing duplicates, handling missing values, and ensuring data consistency.
- Data Transformation: Standardize and reformat raw data to align with research objectives and client specifications.
- Tabulation & Aggregation: Create frequency tables, cross-tabulations, and summary statistics to support insights reporting and client presentations.
- Weighting & Tabulations: Apply weights to datasets and generate necessary frequency tables and crosstabs.
- Data Integration: Combine data from various sources (e.g., surveys, tracking studies, spreadsheets) into cohesive datasets suitable for analysis and reporting.
- Export & Documentation: Prepare clean, well-labeled datasets for export in specified formats (e.g., Excel, CSV, SPSS) along with appropriate documentation.
- Quality Control: Conduct systematic checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness prior to delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with research analysts, project managers, and survey programmers to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Coding of Open-Ended Responses: Categorize qualitative text responses using coding frameworks to facilitate quantitative analysis.
- Automation & Scripting: Utilize scripting languages or tools to automate repetitive tasks (e.g., Python, R, Excel macros).
