Role Overview

The Animation Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the animation quality for specific projects, ensuring that performances are consistent and align with the Director's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and train a team of Animators
Establish examples and benchmarks to guide the animation team
Collaborate closely with the Animation Leads to guarantee the production of high-quality animations that deliver compelling, story-driven, and dynamic moments fitting the film's style and pacing
Ensure overall quality across the team's output
Work with rigging and pipeline teams to offer insights and feedback aimed at enhancing character setups, visual quality, rigs, and tool functionality
Maintain effective communication with Production about the team's progress towards project timelines
Take accountability for achieving show milestones and deadlines
Facilitate client reviews and lead daily animation team discussions
Stay updated on new tools, software, and related technologies
