The Apparel Category Manager will take ownership of apparel category growth within a new, strategic commerce initiative. As an in-house authority on Fashion & Apparel culture, this individual will utilize their expertise to enhance supply growth, engagement, and gross merchandise value (GMV).

In this role, you will serve as:

  • The internal expert on both first-hand and second-hand apparel ecosystems.
  • The external representative of StockX to apparel sellers, creators, designers, and community influencers.
  • The architect behind the apparel go-to-market strategy for this new initiative.

This position requires a blend of cultural insight, strategic vision, and hands-on execution. Initially, you will manage all aspects related to apparel within this initiative, and as the category evolves, you will transition into a leadership role overseeing a larger apparel portfolio and team.

Your Responsibilities:

Oversee the Apparel Category from Start to Finish

  • Develop and implement the growth strategy for apparel on our platform.
  • Manage category performance across supply, engagement, and revenue metrics.
  • Set quarterly objectives, leading indicators, and operational rhythms.

Become the Market & Culture Specialist

  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the apparel culture, including:
    • Key sellers, creators, designers, brands, and retailers.
    • Sub-segments such as streetwear, luxury, contemporary, vintage, and performance.
    • Seasonal releases, brand dynamics, collaborations, and cultural phenomena.
