Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and versatile Application Engineer to join our pioneering team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role involves the maintenance and optimization of over 100 AI vision inspection cameras deployed at various customer locations across Indonesia, as well as assisting with the deployment of new production lines.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in industrial automation, a proactive problem-solving approach, and the capability to work independently while managing multiple customer sites. As the primary technical liaison for our Indonesian clients, you will ensure prompt and reliable support, as well as peak system performance.

Key Responsibilities

System Maintenance & Support

Maintain and optimize a network of over 100 Overview.ai vision inspection cameras across customer facilities in Indonesia.
Deliver rapid troubleshooting to minimize production interruptions.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance and system health evaluations.
Manage and coordinate a small team of contractors for routine maintenance tasks.

Technical Deployment & Integration

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Overview.ai vision inspection systems on new production lines.
Collaborate with various PLC platforms and protocols, including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, and OPC UA.
Facilitate seamless integration of AI inspection systems with factory automation equipment.
Utilize multimeters and oscilloscopes to diagnose and resolve electrical and signal quality issues.

Customer Support & Training

Provide on-site technical support and guidance to customers.
Conduct training sessions for customer personnel on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
Foster strong relationships with customers through trusted support and expertise.
