About You
We are on the lookout for a dynamic, innovative, and self-motivated professional to join our esteemed team as an Application Engineering Manager. This pivotal role involves spearheading the performance of Application Engineering and ensuring disciplined delivery of customer solutions by guiding laboratory and technical service engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough root-cause analyses, providing robust application recommendations, enhancing regional laboratory practices, and developing repeatable methodologies for customer solutions that drive commercial success and can be adopted by global technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the coordination and integration of Application Engineering and Technical Service resources, leveraging Dymax technical expertise and cross-entity competencies while establishing structured, repeatable investigation and solution processes that yield consistent customer outcomes.
- Enhance team application recommendations and root cause conclusions through expert technical judgment and customer-oriented evaluations, guiding engineers to formulate consistent and defensible solutions for stakeholders.
- Foster high-performing laboratory and application engineering teams by attracting, mentoring, and managing engineers, assigning tasks, setting clear expectations, and reinforcing disciplined scientific methods and laboratory analyses.
- Ensure effective dissemination of product information, resolutions, and technical recommendations by leading coordinated cross-functional communications of findings and solution alternatives with Customer Service, Sales, and Product teams.
