Job Description:
Role: Application Packager
Location: Crawley, England
Job Type: Contract (3 Months)

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the DSM and Infrastructure Lead to fulfill all application packaging requirements.
• Create comprehensive documentation and technical guides for systems, including design specifications.
• Package and deploy enterprise-level applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Engage with in-house teams (Storage, Networks, VMware) and third-party vendors at a technical level, both proactively and reactively.
• Remotely integrate applications into the client’s standard desktops/laptops by packaging in formats such as AppV, THIN APP, or MSI and deploying using SCCM 2007/2012.

Requirements:
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in application sequencing using AppV (preferably v5.1).
• Strong knowledge of MSI Packaging through Install Shield and AdminStudio.
• Advanced scripting skills with PowerShell are essential.
• Extensive experience with SCCM 2007/2012, particularly in application deployment.
