Role Overview: Applied AI Engineer – Product & GTM
Based in San Francisco, this role bridges research, product development, and go-to-market teams. The Applied AI Engineer works closely with quantum algorithm researchers, systems engineers, and the GTM group that partners with top labs and industry players. The position centers on translating technical research into practical tools, simulations, and materials that inform both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Expect hands-on coding with simulation codebases, building automated analysis pipelines, and producing technical outputs for presentations and partnerships. While agentic AI tools will help accelerate some tasks, strong programming skills are needed to work with complex simulation infrastructure.
What You Will Do
- Work directly with datacenter simulation frameworks to extract results, build post-processing pipelines, and format outputs.
- Develop automated systems that turn analytical projections into charts, tables, and assets ready for presentations.
- Maintain and update datasets that track projected quantum advantages across major AI model architectures.
- Create tools so simulation results remain reproducible and auditable.
- Collaborate with quantum algorithm specialists to translate resource analyses into classical simulation inputs.
Technical Content & Materials
- Produce performance charts, architectural diagrams, and comparison tables from simulation and analysis data.
- Support the creation of white papers and technical documentation that communicate findings and progress.
