We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level Applied AI Engineer to join our Diner Growth – AI Discovery team in Kaunas, working from the Magnum Office Center.
About Our Work
We are at the forefront of OpenTable’s growth, developing systems that link diners with restaurants through search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms. Our efforts combine foundational search techniques, ranking, keyword optimization, and click-through enhancements, with cutting-edge AI methods, including generative engine optimization (GEO) and extensive content systems.
We create and manage systems that produce and refine high-quality content at scale (such as FAQs and restaurant descriptions), enhance visibility across search and AI surfaces, and integrate OpenTable into new platforms (e.g., MCP-powered experiences). Our methodology is experimental and data-driven, with a strong emphasis on achievable results.
Your Role
As a key member of the Diner Growth – AI Discovery team, you will develop and oversee systems that directly influence user acquisition and revenue generation. Collaborating closely with product, design, and data teams, you will be part of a dynamic, cross-functional group.
Your responsibilities will include designing comprehensive solutions encompassing data pipelines, backend services, and frontend interfaces, leveraging LLM-powered workflows and scalable content systems, utilizing technologies such as Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Databricks, Kubernetes, and Postgres.
