Mistral AI is on the lookout for a dynamic Applied AI Engineer who will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our cutting-edge products among enterprise clients while tackling intricate technical challenges.
As part of the Applied AI team, which serves as Mistral's client-facing technical unit, you will engage directly with enterprise customers from the pre-sales phase through to implementation, ensuring the deployment of AI solutions that yield tangible business results.
Our team merges extensive machine learning expertise with exceptional customer engagement skills, functioning similarly to startup CTOs who oversee project execution from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
- Independently deploy production use cases that significantly impact various industries.
- Collaborate on state-of-the-art generative AI applications, spanning consumer products and industrial use cases, to drive critical technological transformations for our clients.
- Partner with researchers and fellow AI engineers on complex projects, including fine-tuning and implementing advanced LLM applications, and contribute to our open-source codebases for tasks like inference and fine-tuning.
- Participate in pre-sales discussions to grasp potential clients' needs and challenges, providing technical expertise on our products and elucidating Mistral technologies to various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product and scientific teams to continuously enhance our product and model capabilities based on client feedback.
