Role overview
The Applied AI Value Engineer for the Japan Market partners with major Japanese enterprises to solve complex business problems. This position connects advanced AI capabilities with the unique needs of organizations in Japan. Collaboration with partners such as Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks is a key part of the work, ensuring each AI project delivers clear, measurable results. The role includes prototyping solutions, demonstrating them to executive stakeholders, and supporting adoption within the Japanese market.
What you will do
- AI Discovery & Solution Development (Japan Focus): Examine the specific AI strategies and challenges of Japanese customers, designing solutions that reflect local business practices.
- Hackathons & Prototyping: Quickly build prototypes, including large language model (LLM) and agent-based models, to address urgent business needs during customer hackathons.
- Agentic Process Transformation: Guide customers as they move from traditional automation to autonomous AI agents using the Celonis PI Platform.
- Proof-of-Value Projects: Lead end-to-end Proof-of-Value (PoV) projects, covering architecture, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and guardrails, while following enterprise data and identity requirements.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with Japan-based account teams and executives to ensure deliverables match agreed value and adoption goals.
- Domain Expertise: Build and share knowledge in areas such as Supply Chain and Finance, supporting teams in Japan and globally.
