Job Title: Architectural Drafter
Job Summary: We are in search of a meticulous and talented Architectural Drafter who possesses at least 3 years of experience working with Revit. The successful candidate will be adept at creating precise construction drawings, specifications, and documentation. This position requires effective collaboration with architects and engineers to accurately convert design concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality architectural drawings and specifications utilizing Revit.
- Develop construction detailing and specification sheets with exceptional accuracy.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and fellow team members to confirm the accuracy and viability of design proposals.
- Modify and update drawings in response to feedback and design alterations.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
- Organize and maintain project documentation for easy access and future reference.
- Perform quality assurance checks on all drafting work to guarantee precision and alignment with design intent.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience using Revit for drafting and detailing.
- Demonstrated experience in construction detailing and preparing specification sheets.
- Proficient in Revit and other drafting software such as AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design and construction processes.
- Outstanding organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with building codes, standards, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective teamwork.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with project management software to monitor design progress.
- Knowledge of sustainable design and green building methodologies.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
