Job Summary:
As an Assembly Lead, you will play a vital role in guiding one or more teams through the production and manufacturing processes. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that tasks are completed on schedule, which includes delegating and clarifying daily assignments to team members, monitoring workflow, adhering to company policies, and providing training and support to associates. You will collaborate closely with management to enhance manufacturing operations.
Job Duties:
- Supervise staff to ensure efficient production of manufactured goods while organizing and monitoring workflow.
- Achieve manufacturing goals by clearly communicating job expectations, planning, assessing job performance, coaching, advising, and enforcing company policies.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor team members to foster their development.
- Maintain workflow by continuously monitoring and improving processes, setting operational parameters, overseeing control points and equipment, and facilitating interdepartmental cooperation.
- Execute production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, achieving results, and establishing performance metrics.
