Assistant Director of Vocational Nursing (Evenings/Weekends)
Stanbridge University is actively searching for a dedicated Assistant Director of Vocational Nursing (Evenings/Weekends) to take on a pivotal leadership position within our expanding Vocational Nursing (VN) program. This role is integral in enhancing faculty performance, refining curriculum delivery, establishing clinical partnerships, and improving student outcomes, ensuring that our evening and weekend cohorts uphold the same exemplary standards as our daytime classes.
As the operational lead for the evening and weekend cohorts, you will collaborate closely with the Program Director to oversee academic quality, faculty effectiveness, and program success.
This full-time position necessitates a consistent on-site presence during evening and weekend program hours and is not intended for part-time or supplemental employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Operations & Execution:
- Manage the daily operations of the VN program with a focus on evening and weekend cohorts.
- Assist in faculty scheduling, course planning, and allocation of instructional resources.
- Ensure the timely completion of grading, evaluations, and necessary reporting.
Faculty Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate instructional faculty.
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to promote instructional excellence.
- Encourage the use of active learning strategies and effective utilization of ATI resources.
Student Success & Outcomes:
- Monitor student performance and implement strategies to enhance retention and graduation rates.
- Ensure instructional quality consistency across all cohorts.
- Offer feedback during weekend clinicals regarding student progress and learning environments.
Compliance, Clinicals & Partnerships:
- Ensure adherence to BVNPT regulations and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate clinical placements and foster strong relationships with clinical partners.
- Manage program data collection, reporting, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clear communication with clinical sites to meet all student requirements.
