Who We Are Looking For:
The Assistant General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily plant operations, ranging from production and manufacturing to the enforcement of policies and procedures. This individual will also develop processes aimed at maximizing stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.
Your Responsibilities:
- Establish and prioritize operational goals, managing projects to achieve corporate targets and meet customer deadlines. Lead the team in addressing specific challenges and overcoming project obstacles to ensure the achievement of defined goals.
- Collaborate with the human resources department to recruit and hire employees essential for your business area, while influencing the development and implementation of strategies that attract, develop, reward, and retain outstanding talent.
- Mentor operational and logistics team members, managers, and team leaders, facilitating their professional and technical growth. Identify and nurture future leaders within the organization to support their leadership development.
- Engage with customers on key issues to resolve matters and communicate action plans as needed.
- Set goals and drive improvements in key performance metrics determined each year.
- Create and deliver effective memos, letters, emails, reports, and presentations.
