Assistant Manager, E-commerce Key Account Management

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Assistant Manager for E-commerce Key Account Management to lead our e-commerce initiatives and oversee a portfolio of premier brands. In this crucial position, you will spearhead our comprehensive e-commerce strategy, manage profitability and loss for assigned accounts, and ensure operational excellence across key platforms like Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok. You will serve as the pivotal link between our clients, internal teams, and e-commerce platforms, driving growth in Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) and expanding our market presence.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overarching e-commerce strategy and manage P&L for a diverse portfolio, ensuring the team meets GMV and revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Act as the primary escalation point and strategic consultant for key clients, leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to align brand objectives with agency performance.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with platform representatives (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok KAMs), negotiating Joint Business Plans (JBPs), securing exclusive campaign placements, and accessing platform beta features.
- Review and endorse comprehensive marketing and promotional strategies for high-impact campaigns (e.g., 3.3, 11.11), product launches, and live streaming initiatives, ensuring optimal budget utilization.
- Enhance workflows and address operational challenges between the KAM team and internal departments (Supply Chain, Marketing, Creative Design, Finance, etc.) for seamless execution.
- Aggregate and analyze data across the portfolio to uncover market trends, consumer behavior, and campaign ROI, providing strategic insights to both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee team workload, resource allocation, and manage crisis situations and operational troubleshooting during peak campaign periods.
Your Profile
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Bring 5-8 years of experience in E-commerce, Key Account Management, or a similar agency environment.
- Exhibit an in-depth understanding of Southeast Asian e-commerce ecosystems (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop), including seller center operations and platform dynamics.
