About the Role
As the Assistant Manager of PR & Content Strategy, you will be instrumental in driving external communication efforts that bolster our brand's credibility and align with our evolving business objectives in Thailand. This pivotal role focuses on media relations, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement, while you will also contribute to communication strategies for upcoming initiatives and market developments.
The ideal candidate will ensure that our messaging is clear, consistent, and adheres to organizational standards. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, regional partners, and external stakeholders to enhance communication effectiveness and nurture strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Media Relations & External Positioning
- Assist in developing and executing public relations strategies to boost media visibility.
- Establish and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and industry publications, particularly in business and finance.
- Pitch story ideas and coordinate press materials to secure relevant media coverage.
- Handle media inquiries and facilitate interviews.
- Monitor media coverage, sentiment, and share of voice, compiling regular insight reports.
Communications Planning & Strategic Support
- Align communication plans with organizational priorities and dynamic business needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare for external announcements through structured message planning.
- Keep abreast of media and competitive landscapes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Transform market and media insights into actionable strategies for effective communication.
- Anticipate communication needs and ensure organizational readiness for urgent developments.
- Provide support for events, media briefings, and related activities.
Corporate Messaging & Content Development
- Draft and refine press releases, speeches, executive communications, and corporate materials, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain core messaging that reflects a consistent and credible external voice.
- Ensure communication is tailored to different audiences while being in line with organizational positioning.
- Convert complex business and market topics into accessible narratives for external stakeholders.
- Uphold brand and regulatory standards in all outward-facing materials.
Issues & Reputation Management
- Assist in preparing communication guidelines and response materials for sensitive situations.
