Proficient in data analysis and mining tools, capable of conducting comprehensive data dives to extract valuable insights. Hands-on experience with SQL. Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, professional demeanor. Adept at navigating ambiguity and functioning effectively in fast-paced, unstructured environments.

About the Role

As the Assistant Manager of Risk Policy, you will be integral in shaping and enforcing robust risk management policies and frameworks that align with our strategic objectives and comply with regulatory standards. Your leadership will be crucial in spearheading risk initiatives across the organization, enhancing our risk management capabilities, and fostering sustainable business growth.

You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Risk Policy and work onsite at our office.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in fraud risk policy for various payment methods (including cards, wallets, and Alternative Payment Methods) and lending products (such as Paylater, Cash Loans, and Buy Now, Pay Later).
  • Lead regional policy initiatives and projects designed to reduce risk and fraud in new and existing product offerings.
  • Detect and analyze emerging risks and trends, providing actionable recommendations for policy adjustments and procedural updates to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Product, Business, and Engineering teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Configure and enhance fraud detection rules within fraud management systems, utilizing transaction trend analysis and pattern recognition techniques.
  • Conduct thorough monitoring, investigations, and forensic analyses, accompanied by detailed reporting; deliver timely, data-informed insights regarding portfolio performance metrics.
