Position Overview
As an Assistant Principal (AP) at Rocketship, you will play a pivotal role in fostering academic excellence and establishing a rigorous college preparatory culture. Collaborating closely with the Principal, you will help lead and execute the school’s instructional vision alongside a dedicated group of educators.
Your responsibilities will include directly managing several grade levels, overseeing teachers and instructional support staff, driving data analysis cycles, conducting classroom observations, providing constructive feedback, and co-planning units and lesson plans aimed at enhancing educator effectiveness and leadership.
Our Rocketship campuses are supported by a collaborative leadership team consisting of the Principal, Assistant Principals, and operations team members. APs are integral to developing professional growth, nurturing school culture, managing behavior in common areas, and organizing special events. Together, you will lead a team of teachers, tutors, enrichment coordinators, and support staff to deliver personalized, gap-closing instruction to students from pre-K to fifth grade.
